College
I'm bored of telling everyone how things are going at college. They are going well, for the most part, except I keep finishing my work before everyone else and having no one to hang with...then people think I'm bookish so no one invites me to anything. Ack the condundrum.
Missouri is beautiful, and cooler. All the Yanks keep complaining about it being hot, and it isn't THAT much cooler, but I won't admit I'm hot in front of these crazy Northerners. So I'm sitting in my unairconditioned room pretending I like the dark so it will be a little cooler in here.
Classes are good so far. Mythology is supposed to be hard, but I'm not too worried since I absolutely love it. Love it. Always have. Fan-FARC-ing-tastic. *My dorm is the Fine Arts Residence Community, we like to say FARC* However, we are collectively worried that our professor is going to drop dead in the middle of a lecture. My philosophy teacher talks like Ben Stein and looks like he might be a Neo-Nazi. I get the distinct impression Will would adore him. My psych professor talks really fast and is really excited about psychology, which really isn't a problem because he gave us a fill-in-the-blank lecture sheet. History is going to be boring, because I already know what the prof is talking about. I could have answered the question he posed at the beginning of class and saved everyone the 45-min lecture. My microecon. teacher is on probation for failing over half her students two years ago, which is actually a good thing because that means she isn't allowed to fail all of us without being fired.
Other news: I hardly ever see my roommate, whose name is Jasmine, because she got into a sorority (Delta Gamma). She has only slept here two nights out of a week and a half. I don't know or want to know where she sleeps.
That's about it for now...maybe I'll think of something interesting later.
PS. If anyone that reads this talks to Phil, please let him know I would like to talk to him...
