Isn't it strange how a saturday movie you stumbled upon completely on accident can make the world seem brighter? And how an inconceivable late-night conversation can refresh a muddy emotional pond and allow you to breathe a new breath of air before diving back into life?
God does move in mysterious ways, but he surely has a plan for us.

Why is it that only the two classes I really need to have are completely mutually exclusive and I have to choose between them? Arg. Just one more reason the J-school hates me.

I'm officially now in Missouri. ...I'm not sure how I feel about that...it's kinda like being in another, parallel, dimension.

Something to consider

Adam had a brilliant question the other night, so brilliant I'd like to share it with you and 'hear' out your responses.

If you could be an expert at any three things (as in you wake up tomorrow and, hey, what do you know...I'm an expert), what would they be? (anything from cutting the lawn perfectly to rocket science is permissible)


My three things: 1) linguistics (science of language is fascinating) 2) crafting (as in arts and crafts) and 3) putting together an outfit (blending style with comfort is apparently beyond me)
